Maysa Alnattah
Physiotherapist
Maysa is a Registered Physiotherapist with nearly two decades of clinical, international, and academic experience in musculoskeletal health, complex rehabilitation, and trauma recovery. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, followed by a Master’s degree in Medical Science (Sports Medicine) from Lund University, Sweden, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health from Malmö University, Sweden, and a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University, Canada.
After completing the University of Alberta’s Bridging to Canadian Physical Therapy Practice program, Maysa became a fully licensed Independent Physiotherapist in Ontario.
Her clinical approach is rooted in biomechanics, movement science, and pain management, with a focus on identifying root causes, restoring functional movement, and empowering patients through personalized, active rehabilitation. She holds advanced certifications in Dry Needling (all levels), Neurofascial Reset Therapy, and athletic resistance training.
Maysa’s experience spans elite sports, military rehabilitation, and humanitarian healthcare. She has provided sports physiotherapy for elite athletes with LUGI Handball in Sweden and served on trauma and reconstructive surgery missions with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Lebanon, South Sudan, Iraq, and Gaza.
She currently provides specialized orthopedic, trauma, and musculoskeletal care throughout the Ottawa region.
Outside the clinic, Maysa enjoys strength training, hiking, scuba diving, camping, cycling, snowshoeing, and travel. Her published research and commitment to lifelong learning continue to drive her mission of helping people overcome persistent pain, build resilience, and achieve long-term physical well-being.
