VERVE RUN COLLECTIVE
Community Running in Westboro Village, Ottawa
A Community Run in Ottawa
The Verve Run Collective (VRC) is a recreational community run designed to bring people together around movement, consistency, connection and community.
This isn’t a coached training program or clinical service — it’s simply a space for people who enjoy running to meet, move, and connect.
Hosted by Verve Movement, the VRC reflects our belief that movement and community play an important role in overall wellness.
Whether you're new to running, getting back into it, or simply enjoy running with others, the VRC offers a welcoming and inclusive environment.
What Makes the Verve Run Collective Different
The VRC focuses on enjoyable movement, consistency, connection and community.
Rather than structured training or coaching, the goal is to create a supportive space where runners of all levels can move together and build a sustainable running routine.
Participants are encouraged to run at their own pace and comfort level.
What to Expect Each Session
Each Verve Run Collective session typically includes:
Light Warm-Up (5–7 minutes)
Optional group warm-up to help prepare the body for movement.
Community Group Run (approx 45 min)
Participants run together in a relaxed, social environment at their own pace.
Mobility Cool-Down (5-7 min)
Optional simple mobility movements to help ease back into recovery after the run.
The format may vary from week to week depending on weather, attendance, and community interest.
Who It’s For
The VRC is open to anyone who enjoys running in a community setting, including:
• New runners
• Recreational runners
• Runners returning to the sport
• Anyone looking to meet others in the local running community
